And I've been doing what?????

I know, I know; I have been very neglectful updating the blog. Go ahead and smack me.

Where to start; oh, my luggage finally arrived. Turns out London lost it and then Madrid "misplaced" it; all the way to Barcelona. I guess a tag stating Jerez (Hereth) doesn't mean anything to the airlines. Anyway, I got my bags on a Monday night and Tuesday started work. I sit in an office with 2 Navy men; one of which strips out of his work out clothes (in front of me) and then gets into his uniform; the other makes me coffee. Thank goodness they are both cute and fun. I do enjoy my day!!!!

I have been to several BBQ’s at Mike and Jena’s house; it’s right on the beach. You literally take the stairs from the backyard and boom; beach. I’m there a lot and they feed me; which you know, I do enjoy good food. Speaking of food; I miss OKINOWA the Mongolian BBQ, the Korean, Thai, ohhh Taco Rice; mmmmm. The food here is good but really heavy and my system hasn’t gotten used to it yet. Ohh, it stays light outside until 10pm; I’m so messed up, I don’t know “come here from sickem”.

I found an apartment out in Puerto Sherry; it’s right on the water and it’s furnished. Yeah!!!!! I love it but can’t move in until September. I went to the drive-in movie last Friday with my friends Jeff, Mike, and Jena; then Saturday we went bar hopping. For shame; I know but it had to be done. I needed to witness the wild night life of Rota; did I mention I miss Okinawa. Well, it did get kind of wild when Mike stripped down to his bare nakedness and put on girls underwear and then Jeff had to repeat the effort but at least he left his boxers on. I guess the song is true "Tequila makes HIS clothes come off"



I am enjoying myself and making friends all the time. Oh, hehehe, I found a lady to do my nails; I have pretty hands again. Yippee!
