The Latest and Greatest

Well, I moved into my place and I love it!!! Like I said before, my view is incredible. I’m surrounded in boxes and I have a path from the door to the bedroom and the TV is visible.

I went to Hawaii again on 11/19 and then went to Okinawa on 11/23; of course nothing is that easy. I got stranded in the Osaka airport for 24 hours. It wasn’t too bad, I felt like a hobo, no home, no food, and no place to sleep. Ok, so there was a shower and seats to lye on but the police kept waking us up and checking our passports. It was me, Sandra (a mom on her way to visit her grown daughter) and two Marines (Sean and Jonathon). It was just the four of us taking on the Osaka airport and the police. I indulged in the shower and felt so much better.

We finally arrived in Okinawa some 24 hours later (of 452 people stranded, 7 of us got out on Thursday). I arrived and Sarah was there to meet me. I missed her so much and the rest of my friends. I was able to see almost everyone but I did miss out on seeing a few people (Higa, J, Chris, and Mario). I went to a birthday party when I first arrived and then found Jeremy and went over to another house where most of my friends were hanging out. It was so good seeing everyone. It was a fun filled, drama induced, coma of a time and I loved it.

I came back here on 11/27 at 2am, woke up at 8 am and started unpacking. I’ve been unpacking every since. It is going slowly but at least I feel like I have a home again. I went to the COMNAVMAR Holiday Party tonight and did too much of everything so I came home. My excuse: I came, I saw, I ate, I partied, I mingled, I’m sore, I’m going home………….
