Relay for Life - Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend was the annual Relay For Life here on Guam. We had a great turn out and everyone enjoyed the time we had to show our support.

My firm was a corporate sponsor this year and our team was small but mighty! My colleages and I are going to be doing this every year. My family does the Relay back home in Bakersfield every year; it's a family event. Since I couldn't be with them during the Bakersfield Relay; I did my laps here. My first two laps were for my parents; my inspirations in life. I did laps for all of my siblings and in laws, and the kids.

It was pouring down rain at one point and we had a ton of people in our tent. I looked out and there running in the rain were survivors, volunteers, and beauty queens. I grabbed my umbrella and continued the walk; next thing I know I hear "Go Booz Allen"!!!!! It was my colleage Joey. He started running in the rain. You gotta love dedication. The Guam event is only 12 hrs but after working a 50 hr week, I'm exhausted now. My feet, hips, and legs are hurting; however, I wouldn't trade the pain for anything.
