Well, it's that time of year and that time of life. I missed my 20th High School Reunion; it was this weekend and I just couldn't get back to California for it. I hated not attending but what can you do.
Friday night I went out with some friends. We started off at the Sheraton for some free drinks, appetizers, and a raffle. Don't ask.
We met up with some other friends and proceeded over to the Marianas Trench for some Thai food (my favorite); afterwards we went to "The Globe" for dancing.
Ok, now I know I'm not that old but goodness gracious; those guys look like they are 12yrs old. My friends laughed at me because they forget how old I am. Some little boy walked up to my friend Kim and was whispering in her ear. I was watching people dance and giggling to myself. It was the tourists, I have to laugh sometimes (no further explanaition needed).
Anyway, I guess the guy asked Kim why I look mean and she told him "ask her". She knew I would have something to say and she just wanted to watch little boy get smacked down. When the guy is done talking to Kim he looks at me says "you look mean, you should smile".
WTH?
I just looked at him and didn't change my expression. He said it again "you look mean to me". Then he said "are you mean?". I said "YES" and he said "WHY?". I replied "because I can be" and sent him packing.
What???? Am I supposed to go around with a stupid grin on my face to make others feel better; I don't think so.
We went out onto the dance floor and had a good time. We laughed, danced, and made fun of ourselves. I arrived with dry straight hair and left with wet curly hair. All in all; a fun evening!
Word to the wise: Never ever approach a red head and tell her she looks mean. You may just get slapped back into your mothers womb!
Oh and one last thing
Oh and one last thing. I heard the best line this weekend on TV. "She isn't the CIA man" guy 1 said. Guy 2 said "CIA aint got shit on a woman with a plan". Hahaha, I love it!
