Happy Thanksgiving

Today we celebrated Thanksgiving with our closest family; friends on island. I miss my family horribly but at least I have a great network of friends here.

Anna and I cooked up a storm all day. I made my first Turkey (ever) and it may not have been the prettiest Turkey, but man it sure as heck tasted great! We hosted Ashlee, Jason, baby Kadie, Larry, Anna, Chris, and I. Several guests were no shows but that is ok. Our menu was big: Turkey, ham, mashed potato’s, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, rolls, two kinds of cranberry’s, salad, corn on the cob, two kinds of gravy, Chamorro dressing (too die for), and for desert we had: pecan pie, 2 pumpkin, 2 berry, and apple crumble.

For the center piece, I used the flowers from our yard and let them float in water with rocks and limes. Here are some of the pictures.
