Happy Birthday

The craziest, scariest, and most fun night - Sarah turned 21 :) and we had to celebrate!!! This wasn't an April Fools joke, it really was her birthday and she celebrates the entire month of April. I have a feeling I'll be the driver A LOT this month, which of course I don't mind. We started out the festivities Friday night with a lil jont to "The Cove", "The O Club" and finally "Hard Reef".

I should have told this portion of the story sooner but left it out; I don't like evidence. So we are at the O Club and I meet this hot F-15 pilot who buys us a shot. As Sarah and I are headed to the Hard Reef we get to Gate 1 and sure enough the guards are going to stop us. I wasn't drunk or even close to it but I was nervous about having to blow. So when we get to the gate and the guard stops us, I hand him my ID and he asks if where we have been. I didn't lie; I said the O Club; that is when Sarah went into full effect. She leans over me and say's "Hi, I'm Sarah, I've had a really bad day and I needed to drink; what is your name; you are really cute". I looked at the man with pleading eyes and said "I'm water girl, can I please I take her home". Sarah just kept her antics on the poor 19yr old gate guard, she had the poor kid blushing. He handed me my ID and said "take her home". As we are driving away, my hands are shaking and all I could say was "oh shit, oh shit, oh F**K me, I'm never doing that again". Sarah was great, if it wasn't for her, I know I would have done the blow test. Not sure I would have passed.

Then Saturday we went to dinner with some friends of Sarah's; Tom & Sarah (Tom's wife), we went to Zen. The food was incredible and we had a great time laughing and talking for a few hours. After dinner we went back to Sarah's to put on going out clothes; Jeans, flip flops, and tank tops. A must when in Okinawa, you can't get dressed up here because you will sweat to death or get your good clothes ruined. Just watch out for not so sober boys with boots on. My toes have been crunch n munch.

We met up with Joan at The Cove and went to the Hard Reef for the night. The Hard Reef and Sarah's apartment have become my home away from home. Not that we are there all the time; just on the weekends!
