It happens in 3’s but for me it was in 4's; I’m not the most graceful of creatures and tend to be a bit destructive at times but come on……. This past week almost broke me; literally. I take that back…it didn’t break me, I broke it.
Here is the damage:
1) Monday afternoon; broke my middle finger nail.
2) Monday night; killed my company laptop. Still don’t know what happened but it just wouldn’t boot.
3) Thursday; broke that same darned fingernail again.
4) Saturday; broke my camera. Yes, my cute little camera is now a mini boat anchor
At least I was able to download the pictures from it before tossing it in the garbage can and buying a new one.
I still have to send in my Dell for repair. Turns out they don’t have Dell techs on island and I have to send this computer to the states for repair. It only took them a month to tell me this. The shipping fees alone are horrendous. I can barley use this thing right now; it needs a new monitor and video fan. I can use it for about 1 hr before having to shut it down to cool off.
However, on the upside of things; my newest cousin (by marriage) arrived on island on Tuesday. Her name is Ashlee and she is staying with my roomies and I while her fiancé (my cousin) is out to sea. He just joined the Navy and got sent to Guam. Can you believe that? Jason and Ashlee are getting married just as soon as possible.
I took her all over the island this weekend and introduced her to some of my friends. She met Brooke on Saturday!
