First, I can't believe it's already Thanksgiving and the year 2010 is almost over. As a child, time drug on and on; as an adult, it fly's by so fast that you forget how old you are. This year for Thanksgiving I hosted a dinner but really it was no big deal. My dear friend Kim Foxx and I celebrated the day at my apartment. Our friend Jessica was in Las Vegas, so it was just the two of us.
We split up the meal preparation and boy was the food amazing. Kim kicked butt on the mashed potatoes, salad, and a purple sweet potato pie! I know right, purple but believe me it was good.
I still can't believe how good the food was and of course the company was fantastic. Kim is a blast and I always end up laughing until I cry.
Thank goodness for my friends. I do love them.
