Recently I came across a recipe for my favorite marinade. It's probably as close as we are going to get unless of course I go out and buy the bottle online and have it shipped. I did order 12 bottles and shared them my friends who actually cook.
Basque Meat Tenderizer Barbecue Sauce
1 /2 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1 /4 cup Burgundy Wine, any brand, suggested Carlo Rossi
1/4 cup Lawry's Lemon-Pepper Marinade, DO NOT SUBSTITUTE brands
1/8 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon finely ground red pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons soybean oil
In a plastic or ceramic mixing bowl, carefully measure ingredients and stir together until well blended. That's all there is to it! Transfer to appropriate container and store, with lid tightly closed in refrigerator. The marinade will store indefinitely.
